It's time for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights!

It's been a few months since I last joined Kylie Bertuccis' International Blog Highlights, I've had a break from crafting and blogging and am now sharing cards I've created in the last few weeks.

This card showcases the Hues of Happiness DSP which can be found in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. 

I often let the DSP colours guide my choice of colours, it's the perfect solution for  colour coordinated projects!

There are some gorgeous colours in this DSP - Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Pool Party. 

I've naturally leaned towards colours I love - Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party and Night of Navy - when choosing the DSP to show in the background (not forgetting the flowers).

The sentiment 'Sending many thanks for all you do ' is from the coordinating Happiness Abounds stamp set. I've stamped it in versamark and heat embossed it in silver. The sentiment has been die cut out with a die from the Frosted Flurry dies.

I've used the coordinating Blossoming Happiness dies to die cut the flowers directly from the Hues of Happiness DSP. If you don't have the dies, you could fussy cut these quite easily.

I've added Irisdescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels in the centre of each flower. The beauty of these gems is that they work with any colour you combine them with.
