Today the theme is Anything New!
The products I've used today may not be in the latest Stampin' Up! catalogue (the Mini Catalogue that launched at the beginning of July), but they are new to me as I finally placed a large order for the Annual Catalogue that was released in May 2022!
I couldn't wait to use the Awash with Beauty DSP. It's so beautiful and the colours are very me.
It features the colours Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, Polished Pink and So Saffron.
Some of the flowers and leaves can be die cut with the Organic Beauty Dies, but today I am sharing a card with a fussy cut flower from one of the other gorgeous patterns!
It didn't take too long to fussy cut!
I haven't used the coordinating True Beauty stamp set today but I have used the matching Organic Beauty dies.
I've had my eye on the large die for while so I couldn't wait to use it when it arrived.
I added an adhesive sheet to the back of my cardstock before I cut out the pattern. I didn't want to mess about with wet glue on this intricate die.
I chose to die cut it from the same colour cardstock as my cardbase - Balmy Blue! This is one of the colours that feature in the flower pattern I fussy cut.
I added the flowers I fussy cut to the cardbase using foam adhesive dimensionals, I wanted the pattern to be raised to create some dimension!
The sentiment is from the Sending Smiles stamp set.
I heat embossed 'Birthday Wishes' in silver and then cut out the sentiment by hand, fixing it place with glue dots.
A scattering of Rhinestone Basic Jewels completed the card.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
Now it's time to check out the other projects in the blog hop!
