Stampin' for Christmas Blog Hop!

Saturday, 2 July 2022 United Kingdom

I am joining the Stampin' for Christmas blog hop for the first time this year!

There are 176 days until Christmas! You might think it is early to start Christmas crafting, however, if you like to be well organised, struggle to find time in the festive season or simply love creating Christmas cards like I do, there is absolutely nothing wrong with crafting for Christmas all year round.

The reason I haven't joined this hop until now is because I've simply had no Christmas products in my stash.

Everything I loved last year retired and whilst we have a small Christmas offering in the Stampin' Up! annual catalogue, nothing really stood out for me.

This week I received my pre order - a great perk of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! I only ordered a couple of Christmas products but I'll be placing another order soon, now the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue has launched!

First of all, I am going to share with you this gorgeous new DSP - Silver & Gold 6" x 6" DSP

It's only available during Sale-a-Bration, which is live now and ends on 31st August.

For every £45 you spend, you qualify for a free product. There are also products available with a £90 spend.

Check out the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-Bration catalogue here.

As I only placed a small order, I could only choose one SAB item and this was it!

In the Silver & Gold 6" x 6" DSP there are 24 sheets of single sided patterned paper.

There are 2 different designs, either in gold or silver.

The bundle I chose to order was the Joyful Flurry bundle.

This is available in the new Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue which you can view here.

This bundle includes the Joyful Flurry stamp set and Frosted Flurry dies. The font used in the stamp set is beautiful.

I am excited to use some of the larger dies that I've not used in my project!

The smaller snowflakes in this set are traditional dies that cut out the entire image.

The larger snowflakes are partial pop-ups, with individual pieces that aren’t meant to be cut away from the paper.

The sentiment I've added to my card 'It's a season of magic and wonder' is from the Joyful Flurry stamp set. I've stamped this in Versamark ink and have heat embossed in silver. It's been die cut with a die from the coordinating Frosted Flurry dies.

I've added a bow which I've tied using the Simply Elegant Trim - although in my haste to get this project created, photographed, edited and blog post written this morning, I forgot to make sure the ribbon was styled. So the piece on the left has gone a bit rogue.

I've added loads of Basic Rhinestone Jewels to my card, I love a bit of sparkle!

I love Silver & White Christmas projects - I have a page on my blog which you can visit here which is dedicated to my Silver & White Christmas projects.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!

Now it's time to check out all of the projects in the blog hop!
