I'm sharing another card with my favourite pattern from the Heart & Home DSP from Stampin' Up!
This is my penultimate project highlighting products retiring from the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue on 30th June 2021. Come back her eon Thursday for my final project!
The pattern I've chosen features Misty Moonlight. This colour actually which retired at the beginning of May so I'm super happy to be using it one last time with this retiring DSP. I've combined the patterned paper with Night of Navy cardstock, which works pretty well in place of Misty Moonlight.
I wanted to create a card without the standard borders, so I instead opted for this layout with the wide border on the right hand side.
I've added a tiny strip of Night of Navy between the DSP and cardstock base.
I've die cut several butterflies from the same DSP. I've used the Brilliant Wings dies.
To create dimension, I've have combined3 layers of the same die cut on top of each other - a DSP layer, then a layer from Night of Navy cardstock, then another DSP layer.
Next, I adhered the butterfly onto a circle die cut from the Stylish Shapes dies.
The sentiment 'Hello, lovely' is from the Through it Together stamp set. The banner from the Stylish Shapes dies fit the sentiment perfectly. I've heat embossed the sentiment in white on Night of Navy cardstock.
My final touch was few Pearls Basic Jewels added to the body of the butterfly.
