Window Box Flowers

Today I have one last project made with the Welcoming Window bundle from Stampin' Up!

This is only available until 2nd May and there are some great discounts available right now. You can find the links at the bottom of this post!

This was a set I didn't use anywhere near enough (story of my life) until this year and then I fell in love with it.

I adore playing with paper - whilst paper crafting and card making is my hobby, stamping is secondary for me. Yes I know I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator but Stampin' Up! sell plenty of items in addition to stamps that I can use to create handmade cards.

Now, don't get me wrong, I am not saying there is anything wrong with stamping at all but we all have our preferences when it comes to being creative. So for me to enjoy stamping, I really have to love the stamps - you can usually tell which stamp are my faves as I use them A LOT.

Generally I like stamps that fall into one of three categories - 2 step photopolymer stamps, distinktive stamps and stamps that can be cut out with a die.

I loved creating this scene of shelves and pot plants using the distinktive Welcoming Window stamps.

Creating the flowers in two steps was fun too! I just wish I'd chosen a different green.....I feel it doesn't work as well with the blues and pinks - perhaps I should have used Mint Macaron or Soft Succulent.

There are loads of dies within the Window Flower Box dies too so everything you stamp can be die cut. There are lots of standalone dies too!

So that's all three boxes ticked No wonder I've loved creating with this set.....

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
