Share it Sunday Blog Hop!

I am hopping along today with Stampin' demos and papercrafters for the Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop!

I'm sharing a card I created a month or so ago for one of my team at work who has been recovering from surgery.

It's her birthday today too. Happy Birthday Megan!

It's another card I've created with the Sweet as a Peach bundle and You're a Peach DSP..... and there is not a peach in sight!

This set is retiring next week and it was one of those suites that I bought when last years catalogue launched and didn't use until a few months ago. Epic fail.

This card is a simple fancy fold card. Whilst I haven't got a video for this particular card design, I do have a video tutorial for this style card.
Click here to visit my YouTube channel here to watch a similar tutorial.

I've used the Biggest Wish stamp set to stamp 'hello' in Balmy Blue which I've fussy cut.

The flowers are also stamped in Balmy Blue and the leavers in Pear Pizazz. I've added a Blue Adhesive Backed Gem to the centre of each flower.
I've got a good tip in my video tutorial for another fancy fold here for stamping and die cutting these leaves. You can skip forward to about 12 minutes to hear the tip.
Basically the stamp needs to be positioned on your block using the die as a guide to make sure it has been positioned right. First time I stamped the leaves, I honestly thought either my stamp or my die was faulty as they did not line up. Took me a few seconds to realise that the photopolymer stamp was easy to position wrong on your block (although if you are no die cutting it is not an issue)

Panic over!

This is the back of the card and where you would write your message. I have cut a piece of Basic White using the Scalloped Contour dies.

The sentiment 'Sending healing thoughts your way' is perfect for someone recovering from an operation. This is from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set and has been stamped in Balmy Blue.

I've added more of those Blue Adhesive Backed Gems to the centre of the flowers. I think it just adds a little extra!

These gorgeous embellishments are retiring next week, I might have added another pack to my pre order.

I've been a bit late ordering some of the pre order Stampin' Up! products.... hopefully my parcel will arrive next week!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!

Now it's time to check out the blog hop!
