There is no theme today - although you'll find we have all used products from the Stampin' Up! Annual or Mini catalogue.
I haven't inked the Color & Contour stamp set for a while and with the retiring list for the current Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue looming, I've decided to dust off some of my stamp sets and create some cards, just in case the stamp sets end up retiring!
This set comes as part of the Color & Contour bundle - which is the Color & Contour stamp set and Scalloped Contour dies.
Whilst I use the dies a lot, I honestly can't say why I've not used this stamp set that much as it is fabulous. In fact, I've got an idea for another card so watch this space!
I die cut a large label from Basic White cardstock using the Scalloped Contour dies. I used one of the stamps in the Color & Contour stamp set to stamp some black dots directly onto the label, in the area my flower was going to be positioned.
Next, I stamped the flower in Black Memento ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut it out using the Scalloped Contour dies.
I decided not to colour the flower in full, I simply drew around the outline of the flower using my retired Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blend - thinking about it, I could have just used my Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker for the ultimate colour coordination but I didn't give it a second thought!
I stamped the sentiment 'So very happy for you' onto the label before I used Stampin' Dimensionals to add the flower.
A scattering of Pastel Pearls in Blushing Bride finished my card.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
