I'm sharing a quick card I created with the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set from Stampin' Up!
I've had plenty of crafty time over the last two weekends so have lots of new cards that I can't wait to share. I've even got a video tutorial coming up this weekend for a fancy fold card.
Stampin' Up! demonstrators were gifted for free for attending an online Stampin' Up! event last year.
I don't think I would have ordinarily chosen this set but that's what is nice about receiving a stamp set you haven't chosen, it gives you the opportunity to create something you wouldn't normally have created.
I am actually attending another online event in a few weeks, I am soooo excited to see what stamp set we are going to receive - it will be something new from the upcoming Annual Catalogue.
There are three silhouettes images in this stamp set - so far I have only used one but hope to feature the other two images at some point.
I decided to use the stamp to create a soft background. I went with the first colour I picked up - Soft Sea Foam. It just worked and added to the softness I wanted to create.
The sentiment 'Just a note' I've chosen is from the Flowing Flowers stamp set. I've heat embossed it in white on Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
I've diet cut the sentiment using the Stitched Rectangle dies. I do hope these don't retire - I think there is a good chance they will as they've been around for a while. They are so useful, I certainly won't be selling them.
I've added some layers above and below the sentiment.
I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies for the white detail above the sentiment. I die cut a shape out and then trimmed it to give me this scalloped edge.
Below the sentiment I've added some White Frayed Ribbon.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
