Hello Pool Party!

Saturday, 26 June 2021

The last few weeks have been so busy, I've only just got round to sharing this project with you that coordinates with my Explosion Box that I shared 3 weeks ago.

The True Love DSP may be out of stock in Europe, however, here is an an idea for those of you that have this patterned paper in your stash.

This simple card has been created using left over pieces of DSP coordinates with the Explosion Box.

I love the geometric pattern I've chosen. It was a piece left over from another project. I love finding ways to incorporate scraps into my projects!

The flowers are a prime example of using up scraps too. I fussy cut loads of flowers a few months ago for some other projects (check them out here, here and here) and I had a bunch left over. I had quite a few flowers which were not complete, so they were ideal for this centre piece.

I positioned the flowers onto the die cut circle and adhered them into place before running the circle back through my due cutting machine with the Layered Circle dies

For the sentiment I used the Hello stamp from the Biggest Wish stamp set. I used my Stamparatus as I wanted to stamp my image several times to get a really sharp image.

The last addition on my card is the Pool Party bow - the sheer ribbon is gorgeous and a dream to work with.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
