One of the new suites is the Pansy Petals Suite and I have used today the Pansy Petals DSP and Pansy Patch bundle (the bundle consists of the Pansy Patch stamp set and Pansy dies, with 10% off)
The DSP features all five In Colours and I've chosen to use the gingham patterns in Soft Succulent and Fresh Fresia.
I've used coordinating ink to stamp the sentiments from the Pansy Patch stamp set which you can find on page 28 of the catalogue
Such a great choice of sentiments and a lovely font too!
To keep things simple I've die cut pansy's from the patterned paper using the Pansy dies.
There are so many looks you can achieve with this extremely versatile suite -
- as I've demonstrated, you can die cut pansy's directly from the DSP
- you can stamp your pansy's in multiple colours and die cut if you wish
- you can die cut pieces from cardstock in various colours and put them together to form a pansy
I'll try and demonstrate all of these techniques at some stage - tomorrow I have a project to show you where I've used the left over die cuts from this project to make the patterned paper 3D!
For my finishing touches, I added In Colour Jewels to the centre of the pansy's.
I also added the Open Weave ribbon - let me tell you, it is an absolute dream to tie into a gorgeous bow.
