Spring is in the air!
I love this time of year, you can literally feel the season changing. The lighter evenings are wonderful too! We're starting to think about the garden, we want to have lots of blooms and colour for the summer season.
Our garden is quite contemporary. We have grey and purple painted panels. Here are some pictures from last year. It needs a lot of work so I am only sharing the best bits.
Yes, that is a catio! We have the most pampered cats ever. They are safe but get to experience the outdoors. They have the ultimate comfort in their enclosure and we can join them too! Now it is warmer they are spending more time outside again and it is lovely to see.
My love of pastel colours shows everywhere, in my garden, in my home and in my paper crafting. The only place it doesn't show is in my wardrobe.
I was so happy to see this challenge over at The Spot. The theme is just perfect - Spring has sprung!
I grabbed the Fancy Phrases stamp set, Lovely You stamp set and Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and set to work!
Unfortunately, Stampin' Up! no longer sell the Purple Posy ink pad, however, you can achieve the same results by applying ink from your Stampin' Write Marker directly onto your stamp or, you can create a similar effect by 'stamping off' with Highland Heather.

I really enjoying stamping and creating this card but I cannot take credit for this lovely card design.
I took inspiration from a card I received from my upline Michelle Last. You can see two versions of Michelle's card on her blog here and on Instagram here.
Michelle has used lovely bright colours for her card so I decided to create my version with a different colour combination, with my garden as inspiration.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog - I hope you enjoyed my project today!
