Have you noticed that lately I've been trying out lots of new techniques?
Today's technique features the Shimmery White Embossing Paste and I love it!
You can purchase the Embossing Paste from my Stampin' Up! online shop - I'm so glad I got the glittery one but there is a plain option if you don't like too much sparkle!
My favourite Stampin' Up! colour is Pool Party - I haven't used it as much recently so it was time to dust it off!
I've paired lots of Pool Party elements along with a little bit of Smoky Slate and Basic Gray.
I mixed drop of Pool Party ink with a small amount of the Shimmery White Embossing Paste.
With my spatula I applied it onto Whisper White cardstock through the polka dot Basic Pattern Decorative Mask, scrapping off any excess.
I then set it aside to dry - it didn't take too long!
Next I adhered it onto my Pool Party cardstock base, adding Pool Party Sheer Ribbon - this ribbon is BEAUTIFUL!
Using the Layering Ovals dies I die cut a scalloped oval in Pool Party cardstock, I then added a a standard oval to fit within it.
These dies - along with the Layering Circles and Layering Squares - are great staples for your craft stash, I use them so much!
I stamped the house image from the Coming Home stamp set in Memento ink and then coloured it in with Pool Party and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.
I honestly never thought I would enjoying colouring so much - I really love the Stampin' Blends, they are such a great product and I am slowly building up my collection of them.
The card is fabulous. Thanks for sharing.
