Today I am taking part in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights with demonstrators from all over the world!
If you like any of the cards I've created, I would be so grateful if you could vote for me. Look out for the 'vote for me' button further down this page.
The theme for today's highlightS is 'Thank You' - so I'm showcasing the cards I am sending to my family for the thoughtful gifts and surprises I received for my 40th birthday just over a week ago, during the Covid-19 lockdown in the UK.
Can you believe the patterned paper on all 3 cards was cut from just one one piece of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper?
Today I'm using the NEW Flowers for all Seasons 6" x 6" DSP which contains patterns with all of the new 'In Colours' for 2020 - 2022.
The patterned paper I've showcased in this post features the new 'In Colour' Misty Moonlight.
Do you recognise the flower on this card? It's from the largest flower stamp from the Forever Blossoms stamp set. I only inked the bottom section of the stamp and used the coordinating die to cut it out, I love that our stamps are so versatile!
The patterned paper has been embossed with the Subtles embossing folder. I used the Layering Squares Dies and Stitched Label Dies for the centre piece. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.
For this card I've used a Misty Moonlight card base layered with embossed Whisper White cardstock.
I also used the Stitched Labels Dies and Layering Circles Dies, along with the swirly die from the Well Written Dies, which I've layered under the centre piece.
The sentiment comes from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set and it has been heat embossed with White Embossing Powder, like all of the sentiments on all 3 cards.
I used the Stitched Nested Labels dies to cut out the sentiment. I'm so glad Stampin' Up'! has a large range of Stitched Dies, the tiny holes the dies create add just the right amount of interest.
I embossed the Whisper White front of this card using the Brick & Mortar embossing folder and then used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies for the patterned paper banner.
I used the Stitched Label Dies and Layering Ovals Dies for the sentiment from the Well Said stamp set.
The mini flowers and the die cut 'Thank You' have been die cut using the Well Written Dies. I trimmed down the 'Thanks' die to say 'Thank' by just cutting off the 's'..... perfect! Paper crafters can be quite resourceful!
