If you are visiting my blog for the first time, hi! my name is Kim and I live in the UK. If you live in UK, The Netherlands, Germany, France and Austria, you can purchase Stampin' Up! products from my online shop. If you are visiting from further afield, a very warm welcome to you! I hope you find some inspiration here today. You are more than welcome to follow me through any of my social media channels and keep up to date with my craft creations.
I designed this card so that it could suit either a female or male recipient. The A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper is so cute but isn't necessarily "girly" so I felt it was suitable for this card. This was my last piece of this paper, so I may have to just order another pack as it is likely to retire in May just before the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue is published.
You may have seen me use this particular pattern a few times before and each time I make this the main feature of the card. To give it some extra detail, I tore the patterned paper and Perfect Plum cardstock by hand and I am really pleased with the effect, which leaves lots of white space at the bottom of the card.
I decorated the inside too with the reverse piece of torn patterned paper and added some more torn Perfect Plum cardstock. The sentiment I have used is the same on the front and inside of the card and comes from the Iconic Occasions Stamp Set that is available as a Hostess set in the 2017 Stampin' Up! Spring Summer catalogue. If you want to know how you would go about getting this stamp set, please get in touch with me!
If you like my card, I would really appreciate your vote. Just click on the button below and find my project under number 36. To vote, all you have to do is click on the heart in the top right hand corner.
Plus I have some exciting news! I have filmed my very first YouTube tutorial!! I will be publishing it on Sunday morning and blog subscribers will receive an email notification when it is live. Click here to subscribe so you don't miss it.
Just before Christmas I made some little treat/gift bags and I received an overwhelming response asking for a video or written tutorial on how to make these. I've updated the design of the bag using different DSP and in my tutorial I will show you how to make it.
Come and visit my blog on Sunday and view my video tutorial but please be kind and leave me a comment, I'm really nervous about it, but at the same time I am happy I have finally done it!
Until Sunday....
Those foxes are so cute and sure to cheer someone up! I love how you used the remains of the torn pieces from the front on the inside - great idea!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card Kim! I love the colours you chose and I think the sentiment suits the patterned paper perfectly. xo
