It's my birthday today and I will be arriving back in the UK having been on a 9 night cruise stopping at ports in France, Spain & Portugal. I should be relaxed and revitalised ready for the busy month I've got ahead of me at work and also preparing for a crafty weekend I am going to on 25th and 26th June.
I have 43 make and take packs to make and 43 swaps. My trimmer blades are going to get blunt in no time, thank goodness I ordered two spare packs. It's going to be lots of late nights in the craft room, I've just got to make sure I stay focused and don't get too distracted with new products.
So this is my last post saying farewell to my favourite DSP from the Annual and Seasonal catalogue. I hope you've enjoyed it.
The wait is almost over. On Wednesday it will finally be time to place my order of new products! You'll be seeing lots of inspiration all over Pinterest. If you are not already following my Pinterest board, click here.

I hope you enjoyed the Pinkies Blog Hop a few days ago, wasn't it amazing? We're having a another one later on in June once we've managed to get our hands on some more shiny new products!
I absolutely love love love this DSP. I love a vintage feel and this paper always ticks all of the boxes. I've used loads of it in my projects but I have still never finished a pack. Click here to look at projects made with this DSP.
I used Kraft cardstock and Basic Black cardstock for both designs and changed up the layers so they complimented each other. What do you think?
There is only one project left in my Goodbye DSP series. There is so much other DSP retiring but these have been my ultimate favourites.

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We're showcasing lots of gorgeous
projects using products from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons
at the end of each post to keep hopping!
Welcome to my blog! I hope you find some inspiration here today to go to your craft stash and make something beautiful. Wasn't Sarah's project lovely? I am so excited to see all of the other projects the Pinkies have made!
Why oh why did I not come up with these ideas when this paper first came out? Its funny how some days its a challenge to come up with unique new projects and on other days it just comes along naturally.
Recently I've discovered that I create (what I think is) my best work while watching The Walking Dead. I don't know why this happens but I swear it's true! I love that show (okay, maybe not the last season)!
I love pairing colours up like this, doesn't the pink just pop?
Cards like this prove that black doesn't have to be somber and pink certainly doesn't have to be girly!
The wooden sentiment stands out so well over the top of this cardstock and DSP too!
I think the card made in Lost Lagoon is perfect for males, the butterfly being in black definitely helps with that.
It's less than a week now until the 1st June launch of the new catalogue!! I'll be finalising my wish list very soon and will make sure I'm ready to place my order on 1st June so I get my goodies in time to make swaps for a crafty weekend I've got coming up. If you would like to place your order with me, please do let me know. I would love to know what is at the top of your wish list? post your comment below!
Make sure you come back tomorrow, Thursday 26th May at 6pm to see what I've made with new products from the annual catalogue in the Pinkies Blog Hop. You will find lots of inspiration from fellow demonstrators too, how exciting! I just can't wait to see what they've made.

Continuing with my Goodbye DSP theme, here are my next two cards!
I've used the Pretty Petals DSP again. The striped pattern DSP is just lovely, its slightly faded so has a vintage feel to it.
I've used Kraft cardstock for the cardstock behind the DSP and also for the butterfly. And I'm so glad we've got another year to continue using Mint Macaron. This colour and Pool Party will help me get over the loss of Lost Lagoon.
I hope you like these cards today, make sure you leave a comment to let me know you stopped by.

For today's cards I have used the Pretty Petals DSP. I didn't love all of the designs in this pack but there were a few that I thought were really lovely, including this design which was available in the two different colours - Mint Macaron and Old Olive.
You can click here to have a look at cards I have made with the same papers but with an aging effect. Is amazing how different it can look with a little bit of sponging around the edges and different colour cardstock behind it.
I've used Very Vanilla for the butterfly and the layer around the DSP, to match the colour of the leaves.
I got a bit carried out pulling out all of my favourite DSP and so my next post will be cards made with the same DSP stack but using different designs.

As promised, over the next week or two I will saying goodbye to some of my favourite DSP that is retiring. I've used the same card layout to show you how you can achieve so many different looks by just changing the DSP and cardstock you are using.
These are both some of my all time favourite DSP patterns. I have made so many things with this paper - click here if you want to take a look.
I've used Pool Party & Blushing Bride cardstock but you could also use Mint Macaron, Old Olive, or Watermelon Wonder!

Just a quick post from me today to show you these lovely cards I made, inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.
The paper I've used is from the retired Timeless Elegance DSP. I love this paper but unfortunately its now completley sold out. Thankfully I've got lots left over!
I've used the Botanicals Builder Framelit Dies for the flowers and added the sentiment from the retiring Expressions Natural Elements (I'm really going to miss these!)
Thanks for stopping by and a big hello to all my new subscribers! Over the next week or two I will be saying goodbye to my favourite DSP that's retiring from the 2015-16 Annual Catalogue and Spring Summer Catalogue using one very simple card design.
I cannot wait to start showing you fresh new projects that I will create using brand new products from the forthcoming Annual Catalogue that's being released on 1st June 2016.
On 1st June 2016 the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue will be live! How exciting!
Over the next few weeks I will be saying goodbye to some of the products that are retiring from the current catalogue and today I am starting with the In Colours 2014 - 2016, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bloss, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow & Tangelo Twist
I have cased one of my own cards which has been very popular on Pinterest. Click here to see the original version.
The first card showcases Lost Lagoon. This is my favourite colour of all time and I am very sad to see this go. Its going to be Pool Party all the way now.
This is Blackberry Bliss. This used to be one of my favourites but I have found I turn toward Perfect Plum more now I am using more muted tones. I used this colour in my very first Pinkies blog hop, which was also one of my first blog post. Click here to see this card.
Hello Honey is such a lovely colour, not one I tend to use that much. I really like how it looks on a screen card that I made, click here to see it.
Mossy Meadow is a colour I haven't really used before so I am glad I made this project so I had a chance to use it before it retired.
This is Tangelo Twist. I don't tend to use orange very much in my projects, I think that's because I tend to think of Halloween.
Thank you
I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you! My entry into Kylie's International Blog Highlight made it into the top 10 which means I will have the opportunity to take part in an international blog hop with demonstrators from around the world.
Thank you SO much for voting for me x

I am taking part in Kylie's International Blog Highlight again today and the theme is Thank You!
Thank you cards are my favourite cards to make. Whilst I love social media for connecting with people and keeping in touch, it has changed the way we do things and less people these days send thank you notes and birthday cards. As a crafter I still love to make handmade cards instead of just leaving a note on a facebook wall, isn't it always nice to receive some happy mail?

Oh happy days! Sneek peek and my watercolour sketch challenge entry for the Global Design Project #GDP034
Monday, 2 May 2016
I've entered this weeks Global Design Project #GDP034 sketch challenge and have used one of the new stamp sets called Scenic Sayings and the new Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder from the upcoming 2016-17 Annual Catalogue . I promised myself I wasn't going to touch any of my new products until 1st June but when I saw this sketch I knew I just had to.
