Continuing with the Timeless Elegance series, I have a simple but effective thank you card to show you today. I think it's really easy to get stuck in a rut and match your cardstock to the paper and stay with the colour range but its also fun to add a bright colour for some extra wow!
Don't ever feel afraid to keep your design simple. I've kept this design uncomplicated with a Basic Black card base, a Melon Mambo matt and a layer of Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper. All I've added is some Basic Black Stitched Satin Ribbon as I felt adding anything else would not show off this beautiful paper.
To finish the card, I hand stamped Thanks in the bottom left hand corner using the Cottage Greetings stamp set. I love the font used in this stamp set and although its looks quite subtle stamped directly onto the patterned paper, I am okay with it and very thankful that I managed to stamp it straight having added it after I had adhered my layers down - rookie error!!
I hope you are enjoying the series so far. Thanks for stopping by, come back on Monday to look at two elegant gift bags I've made using different patterned paper from the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper
