Welcome to Handmade By Kim. Thank you so much for reading my blog!

My name is Kim Price and I would like to tell you a little bit about me. I live in Somerset and have been married to Phil for just over 6 years. We have two five year old cats called Charlie & Bayley who often keep me company in my craft room.

I work full time as a Finance Team Manager managing and leading a team of 14 staff. In my spare time, I love to wind down and relax either watching films or crafting (preferably both at the same time!)

I joined Stampin' Up! after attending a craft show at Westpoint in Exeter in September 2013. I

remember it clearly, I was not very well having just got back from a 7 day cruise to the Norweigan Fjords and was experiencing a bad case of vertigo. I had free tickets but I couldn't drive due to my dizziness so my husband kindly offered to take me there. I am so glad that I went as it was at this craft show that I met Traci (my upline) and my Stampin' Up! journey began.

After asking some questions about stamping (I never was able to stamp a clean image) Traci immediately inspired me with her knowledge, passion and confidence. Her stand showcased products that left me intrigued.... coordinating stamps and punches/framelits.... the range of designs I could make was suddenly limitless.

I promptly purchased a catalogue from Traci and took it home along with the other (now redundant) goodies I bought from other stands that day. I browsed through the catalogue several times over the next few months and the more and more I looked through it (and watched videos of demonstrators on Youtube), the more I kept adding to my wish list.

My husband kept asking me what I wanted for Christmas and it was then that I decided to join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator.

Since joining I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the product range, attending workshops, Stampin' Up! Events and meeting fellow demonstrators. Anything I had in my craft room previously is now a distant memory (and in a box ready for a carboot sale!).

I would love to share my next steps of my Stampin' Up! journey with you through my blog. Over the next 12 months, I hope to start craft classes and make my first video tutorial so watch this space and I hope you enjoy Handmade by Kim.
